All diving services and operations are conducted in accordance with the HSE regulations and approved code of practice. Bridgeway Consulting are full members of the Association of Diving Contractors (ADC) and can offer unrestricted sub-surface solutions.

Recent Projects

Geothermal International

January 2011, Replacement of gaskets and retaining rings in seven underwater heat exchanger units. Tasked to replace the gaskets and retaining rings on 14 underwater flange assemblies belonging to sub-surface heat exchanger units in Kingsmill Reservoir, Mansfield. Lift bags used to lift assemblies out of bed, new gaskets and rings were fitted followed by pressure test of unit and underwater video of complete assembly.

Mott McDonald

October 2010, Sub-Surface examination of two road bridges over Ladybower Reservoir near Sheffield. Routine underwater examination of two large road bridges over Ladybower reservoir. Full underwater examination of each leg down to a depth of 22 metres. The work has included planning and execution of all diving work and compilation of comprehensive engineering reports and recommendations for repair works.

Amey

SEC 2003 – 2009 Examination of underwater structures in LNE Territory. Routine underwater inspection and examination of over 250 bridge structures per year on railway lines all over LNE Territory including the famous King Edward and High Level bridges in Newcastle. The work has included planning and execution of all diving work and compilation of comprehensive engineering reports and recommendations for repair works.

Rotherham Council

Examination of all underwater structures in the Borough of Rotherham Underwater inspection and examination of all structures within the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham over the last 3 years.

Atkins

SEC 2000 – 2009 Examination of underwater structures in Southern Territory Routine underwater inspection and examination of over 100 bridge structures per year on railway lines all over the Southern Territory including the famous River Thames bridges in Central London, including Cannon St, Blackfriars, Victoria & Charing Cross. The work has included planning and execution of all diving work and compilation of comprehensive engineering reports and recommendations for repair works.

Carillion

Underwater cutting and removal of temporary sheet piling in Erewash Canal for new by-pass bridge in Ilkeston. Cut off over 40 sheet piles underwater at canal bed level and remove temporary works and re-open to canal traffic, after construction of a new concrete road bridge over the Erewash Canal.
